If the bump is considered minor, the student will be given a head bump form to take home.
If there are concerns regarding the head bump, a member of staff will telephone the child’s parents to inform them of the injury and advise them of any steps that should be taken.
In the case of a severe bump, the school’s procedure is to call the ambulance service immediately and inform parents by telephone.
